In the waiting room
I am in a waiting room in a hospital waiting for Liz, she is getting an MRI on her leg. My only companion (Man in shirt) has now left me to suffer in solitude. Man with shirt was a shitty friend, but a friend nonetheless. Our bond went as deep as a pair on preschoolers who wear the same shirt one day.
Never Forget: Man in Shirt
I do not know his actual birthdate, so I took a shot in the dark. I also gave him a date of death of today, because in my mind, he died the moment he walked out the door.
Anonymous asked: Tagging sweet food with #diabetes is hugely inappropriate especially since diet is only a possible contributing factor if you're talking about type 2 diabetes. Type 1 is an auto-immune disease that statistically affects children the most and is incurable. Tagging sweet foods with diabetes perpetuates super shitty misconceptions that hurt diabetics. Please don't.
Thanks for the lesson on Diabetes, however unsolicited it was. I am aware that Diabetes exists (I’ve seen Scrubs). I don’t see how tagging sweet foods with the tag #diabetes perpetuates “super shitty” misconceptions about diabetes because sugary foods, such as the delicious cake and blondies I made, can lead to weight gain which then in turn can lead to type 2 Diabetes, so I do not see the “misconception”. I’m not going to go into the whole “it’s my blog, I can tag whatever I want” rant because honestly, zero fucks given.
Next time I make cake, you cannot have any.
Have a great day!
